The Santa Sophia Catechetical Ministry Office provides many opportunities to help adults deepen their faith.
The Faith Explored offers an open and welcoming environment for learning about the Catholic Church.
The Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) continues the process of becoming Catholic, or provides the means for Catholics who have not received Confirmation, Eucharist, or Reconciliation to prepare for and receive these sacraments.
Small Church Communities provide a process for adults to gather in small groups to read Scripture, pray and share stories of their faith.
Other special short-term weekly studies held throughout the year afford even more opportunities to study the Bible, the doctrines of the Catholic Faith, or topical subjects important to Catholics.

Intended for people who are not Catholic or who have not completed their initiation as Catholics.
We invite you to learn about what Catholic's believe in an open and welcoming environment. These sessions are opportunities for you, and others that you might wish to invite, to ask those perplexing and difficult questions you may have about the Church.
This series of classes are for non-Catholics interested in becoming a Catholic or Catholics who have not yet celebrated Confirmation, Eucharist, and/or Reconciliation.
Have you been baptized? Have you celebrated your first Eucharist? Are you ove 18, attending Mass regularly and have not been Confirmed? Adult Confirmation classes are held twice a year.
Small church communities are an excellent way to explore and deepen your faith in a warm and welcoming environment. There are several groups to choose from.
