This year we will continue a Santa Sophia Steward Scholarship. This scholarship supports parents of Santa Sophia Parish families who wish to send their children to Santa Sophia Academy. The scholarship will be awarded to families who have exhibited excellent stewardship at the parish through their contribution of their time and talent with Santa Sophia Parish ministries and activities.
The value of the scholarships for 2025-2026 will be $3,000 per family, with three families receiving scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded during the Academy end-of-year promotion ceremony.
Those who receive scholarships are encouraged to remember how this financial support benefited them. Parents will be asked to sign a commitment letter indicating that they will develop a sense of stewardship in their children for Santa Sophia Parish and the Steward Scholarship Fund so to help future families.
